Food Sensitivity Testing

You understand that good nutrition starts at the grocery store. You're sure that you are eating the right things to keep healthy … but are you? Your body may be sensitive to certain foods despite their general nutritional value.

What is a food sensitivity? It is your body’s unique reaction to proteins in foods that create an inflammatory response. Therefore, your body may have problems processing certain foods. Even a person who eats healthy can be inadvertently consuming foods that cause problems in their system. The only way to know is to get tested and find which of these foods you need to avoid.

Common symptoms associated with IgG Food Sensitivity:

  • Constipation
  • Bloating
  • Belching
  • Stomach pain
  • Sluggishness
  • Chronic ear infections
  • Stuffy/runny nose
  • Sinus problems
  • Excessive mucous formation
  • Congestion
  • Asthma
  • Arthritis/stiffness
  • Rashes
  • Dry skin
  • Acne
  • Headaches

With IgG Ab, the body response is delayed. Symptoms of an IgG Ab are gradual and can take several hours to several days. This response differs from IgE, which is an immediate response and can occur within minutes after exposure to an allergen or food.

SCNM has two Food Sensitivity Testing packages, one tests for 96 allergens and the other for 184 allergens. The 96 Food Sensitivity Testing package is only $289. The fee covers your specimen collection, processing, a 96 IgG food panel and a 15-minute review of results with a naturopathic physician. The 184 IgG Food Panel package is $374. The fee covers your specimen collection, processing, a 184 IgG food panel and a 15-minute review of results with a naturopathic physician.
