Cancer Care

The Sonoran University Integrative Oncology Program offers patients a personalized multidisciplinary, team-based model of care that treats all types of cancer. This model spans all of the modalities that we offer as a medical center, providing patients the latest evidence-based, naturopathic interventions for their specific cancer.

In addition to our naturopathic resources, we also have one of the most comprehensive testing repertoires in the valley. We offer patients the latest next generation sequencing (NGS) technology and multi-platform tumor biomarker analysis, including Caris Life Sciences to identify tumor-specific targets and provide diagnostics across the continuum of cancer care. Coupled with the latest cellular nutrient analysis testing and other genetic evaluation tools, we have an unparalleled precision integrative medicine program.

Services

The Medical Center offers a variety of services that compliment conventional cancer treatment. Patients have access to physicians who specialize in the following areas and are all conveniently located at Sonoran University in Tempe, AZ.

*Aspects of specialty care may be referred to outside providers on a case-by-case basis.

Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Tool

The Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Tool can estimate a woman’s lifetime risk of developing invasive breast cancer over the next 5 years and up to age 90. The tool uses a woman’s personal medical and reproductive history and family history of breast cancer among her first-degree relatives (mother, sisters, daughters) to estimate her chance or probability of developing invasive breast cancer in defined age intervals.
