About Me: In the 10th grade, I took an aptitude test that gave me recommendations of a pilot, a lawyer, or a doctor. Having had a fascination with how the human body worked since a young age, I set my sights on becoming a physician. However, it wasn’t until after my undergraduate degree that I discovered and fell in love with naturopathic medicine.
After fitting my entire life into a car and driving across 8 state lines (Ontario, Canada to Arizona), I began the wildest rollercoaster ride of my life: becoming a doctor. My passion for regenerative medicine began in my 2nd year when I received a PRP injection that cured my chronic pain stemming from a car accident 3 years prior. Now, I love integrating different facets of medicine, such as neuroendocrinology and genetics, into regenerative medicine to help heal my patients. In my spare time, I like to lift heavy weights, hike tall mountains, and read good books.
Education: Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine); University of Western Ontario (Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, 2011).
My Mission: I approach each patient with an integrative mindset, combining the best of conventional and alternative medicine to help each patient achieve an optimal state of health. My strong penchant for understanding a patient as a whole and and assessing all of their health concerns takes us down a path to discovering the root cause, allowing us to resolve them more efficiently and safely.
Top Achievements: In 2011 I was a member of the University of Western Ontario’s national 4x200m relay team, and in 2012 I was a national silver medalist in the 4x400m relay team, contributing to the University’s first-ever Men’s National Team Championship title. In 2013 I was a Top 10 Finalist for Personal Trainer of the Year while working for GoodLife Fitness, the largest health club company in Canada. As I had only been an employee for 15 months at that time, I was one of the fastest personal trainers in the company’s history to achieve this award.
