PDO threads are a minimally invasive alternative to surgical aesthetic treatments that address skin concerns related to aging, skin elasticity loss, or a reduction of collagen production caused by aging. PDO threads are the most natural way of achieving more volume without injecting various fillers into the skin through natural collagen production, creating a lifted and more voluminous appearance. The procedure uses very thin threads composed of polydioxanone (PDO), the same material found in dissolvable sutures. The treatments require only local anesthesia and virtually no down time.
